Spiritual Goals 2021
January 13, 2021

Spiritual goals in 2020 during the corona crisis. I think, yes! The world is enduring a global pandemic, economies are collapsing & freedom is a thing of the past. Borders are shut. I feel like a prisoner of earth. People are dying in the thousands. Staying at home is mandatory. Fear runs the streets. Fear of the virus, fear of the authorities & their abuse of basic human rights & their play on power. When will it end? The revolution is upon us. Earth needs to evolve. The lockdown has been tough. Thankfully it’s coming to an end! So, let’s review what spirit has taught us.

Global Crisis drives the fear of death- What are your spiritual goals for 2020?

The last time I wrote was 2018 & what I envisioned for my spiritual goals in 2019. In case you missed that, you can read more about it here. In reality, I got knocked up & 2019 turned out to be one big blur. Fast forward 2020 and it is the birth of the apocalypse & revolution. Woah. It got me thinking about spirit (again) and why all this dog pooh is happening. If you really think about it, it’s like a chapter from the dark night of the soul. The collective soul of the earth.

In 2020 you realize we are living each day just to die. We all know that when we are born, we have to die, eventually. This fear is now ringing our doorbell every morning. Reminding us that if we go out there into the world, we could get sick and die. Apart from that fear, we also live in serious troubling times. Which means you fear the people in charge and the system. The system needs to change. Systemic racism, gender-based violence & police brutality are rife. When will it end? The system clearly isn’t working. It’s prejudice and inhumane. Mother Earth does not accept the way we currently live our lives. Society needs to change the system, to be more ethical, more humane, eco-conscious, holistic, and renewable.

Where’s your spirit at?

I guess a lot of people have become more spiritual in the last decade. Moving away from mainstream religion to get more down with earth. Swaying toward the old pagan ways. Exploring Eastern practices and philosophies. Getting more in tune with holistic modalities, herbs for healing, self-care rituals & the law of attraction. Blending ancient teachings with a new age mentality.

The Collective’s Dark Night of the Soul made me reexamine my Spiritual Goals

I truly feel as if mother Earth is experiencing the dark night of the soul. If you have no cooking clue what this means. Read this link to get a better idea. Basically, it’s like falling into a deep and dark depression. Something that is happening in the world right now. With social distancing, businesses closing down & coronavirus on the rise. As we transition into the Age of Aquarius.

The transition isn’t going to be easy if you are not prepared. Spiritually, physically and mentally. We are transitioning into a new digitized world, where we need to learn to adapt. To a new work/home life. It is a lot to take on mentally. We may feel overwhelmed, inadequate, lost, and disconnected. As we leave behind a world on the brink of disaster.

So, what can we do to make this transition easier?

As we embrace technology and the way the world is moving forward. It is important to keep up spiritual practices for grounding our energy and manifesting our dreams. Many of us have had to start all over again. With thousands of people losing their jobs and their livelihoods, life is currently looking grim. So, here are 7 practices that you can try to incorporate into your daily routine. In order to keep your spirits up and attract the life you really want to live as we transition into the Age of Aquarius.

7 Spiritual practices for spiritual goals in 2020

  1. Connect with your emotions and feel your own pain and the collective pain – write, journal, draw – whatever feels right for you in the moment of sadness
  2. Meditate on it- scream it out, it is called catharsis and it is very potent, meditation isn’t all about going inside- sometimes we need to connect with our anger- just remember to find a quiet spot, perhaps somewhere in nature away from other people
  3. Express gratitude to the earth – light an incense, candle, set an intention, create an alter or ground your bare feet into the earth once a day
  4. Community connection- connect with a spiritual community- join a FB group there are so many great groups out there
  5. Keep a dream & dream life journal– dreams are the closest connection we have to our soul journey, keep a dream journal of your night dreams and your life dreams as you begin to manifest your dreams and watch your thoughts
  6. Purge the things that are no longer serving you– delete or block toxic people on social, forget that old friend/ boyfriend, declutter your inbox, clear your thoughts and your living space
  7. Balance your energy so you can allow creativity and new ventures to surface – ensure that you are balanced- emotionally, physically, mentally, and spiritually to ensure optimal high vibration living and manifestation
What really matters in the end?

Balancing our energy to ensure spiritual goals in 2020. Ensuring that we are absolutely present and positive is all we can do. Because we are safe in the present moment and when we are positive, we attract the like. But, of course, this is easier said than done. As you need to be present on a subconscious, unconscious, and conscious level. Which is almost impossible as many people can’t recall their dreams. And this is where the subconscious offloads its information.

There are many ways we can balance our energy. Including; meditation, yoga, art therapy, sleeping/ sleep meditation, conscious dreaming, sound healing, crystal therapy, talk therapy, catharsis, and even swimming. Anything that allows you to be absolutely still and present in your mind will help to clear your subconscious and balance your energy.
